Welcome back to our 2026 - 2027 Meeting Season!

Upcoming meeting:

Wednesday September 16, 2026

Topic: Communicating for Success

Despite the rapid inroads A.I. is making in Supply Chain Management, effective and efficient execution still relies on human interaction. The way you communicate significantly influences the outcome in supplier negotiations and team discussions, for cross-department collaboration, and for presentations to senior leadership, just to name a few.

In "Communicating for Success", Matt Wizeman will introduce the DISC behavioral framework and demonstrate how being able to recognize different communication styles can help you become a more effective leader, colleague, and business partner. You’ll understand how common behavioral and communication preferences affect outcomes, allowing you to adapt your approach to different personalities, reduce conflict, and build stronger working relationships.  By leveraging the knowledge gained, you'll be able to immediately improve communication effectiveness in professional and personal interactions.
